What is Blackwall?
Blackwall is an infrastructure defense platform that lets individuals and security teams report phishing, scam, malware and brand-abuse websites. Reports are triaged, verified and escalated to hosting providers, registrars and blocklists until the malicious content is removed.
How does Blackwall remove a malicious website?
Blackwall files abuse reports with the hosting provider, registrar and upstream network. It also reports to Google Safe Browsing, Microsoft SmartScreen, APWG and URLhaus. The site is monitored until it returns a 404, is suspended or no longer resolves.
Is Blackwall free to use?
Yes. Individuals can submit standard reports, track public status and access community resources for free. Pro and Business tiers add priority triage, evidence vaults, managed takedowns, brand monitoring and API access.
What types of abuse can I report on Blackwall?
You can report phishing, scam and fake-shop websites, malware URLs, brand impersonation, cryptocurrency scams, domain abuse and spam or phishing emails.
How long does a takedown take?
Cooperative hosters often act within a few hours to one business day. Registrars typically take one to three business days. Complex or resistant providers may take longer and require escalation.
Is Blackwall a European service?
Blackwall is founded in Germany and operates worldwide. It is GDPR-aligned and follows a defense-only policy: no offensive operations, only reporting, evidence preservation and takedown coordination through legitimate abuse channels.
